I've been asked how player invisibilty with regards to carried objects will be handled.

Here is the rule for the game:

If an invisible character picks up a visible object, it remains visible; if he can completely enclose the object within his hand, invisible clothing, etc. it disappears, and then remains invisible thereafter.

If the invisible character drops an invisible item, it becomes visible.

Example: the invisible mage, attempting to unlock a door, drops his key. It becomes visible; he picks it up, and it appears to float through the air. Then he closes his hand over it completely, and it disappears again; if he opens his hand the key remains invisible. If he is a real butterfingers and drops it again, it again becomes visible...

Note Concerning Invisibilty Detection: Flouring an invisible target is legal and will cause the target's shape to become discernable.
